Understanding Working Capital Through Real Analysis
Most finance courses teach theory. We teach you how to spot cash flow problems before they become critical by analyzing actual operational data from companies across different sectors.
View Program DetailsWhat Makes This Different
We focus on the messy reality of working capital management, not textbook scenarios that rarely match what you'll encounter in practice.
Pattern Recognition
Learn to spot warning signs in receivables aging and inventory turnover that indicate deeper operational issues affecting liquidity.
Cash Conversion Focus
Understand the actual time lag between spending money and receiving cash, not just theoretical calculations that ignore business reality.
Sector-Specific Analysis
Different industries have completely different working capital dynamics. Manufacturing and retail require fundamentally different analytical approaches.
The Skills That Actually Matter
After working with dozens of companies experiencing cash flow stress, I noticed something interesting. The problems were rarely about not knowing the formulas.
Companies got into trouble because nobody was connecting the dots between sales growth, payment terms, and the actual cash sitting in the bank. Finance teams were tracking metrics but missing what those metrics meant for tomorrow's obligations.
Our October 2025 program focuses specifically on building the judgment skills that help you see these patterns before they become urgent problems.

What You'll Be Able To Do
By the end of this program, you should be able to look at a company's financials and quickly identify where cash is getting stuck, whether payment terms align with operational reality, and which metrics deserve immediate attention.
Structured learning with real case analysis
Industry-specific working capital patterns
How The Program Works
Three months of focused work on developing practical analytical skills through structured case studies.
Foundation Phase (Weeks 1-4)
Start with the core metrics and what they actually measure. You'll work through four different company scenarios to see how the same metric can mean completely different things depending on business model and industry context.
Pattern Analysis (Weeks 5-8)
Learn to identify the early warning signs that indicate cash flow stress is building. We focus on combinations of metrics that reveal problems, not individual numbers in isolation.
Applied Practice (Weeks 9-12)
Work through comprehensive case studies where you'll need to analyze complete financial situations and develop specific recommendations for improving working capital efficiency.
What Past Participants Say
Feedback from finance professionals who completed previous sessions.
The program changed how I look at receivables. I used to just calculate DSO, now I actually understand what the aging schedule is telling me about collection issues and customer health.
What helped most was learning to see connections between different working capital components. The case studies showed me how inventory decisions affect cash flow weeks later in ways I wasn't tracking before.
Next Session Starts October 2025
