Spent twelve years managing working capital for mid-size exporters. Got tired of seeing businesses fail because they couldn't read their own cash cycles. Now designs curriculum that cuts through the noise.
We started brainshinemark because working capital analysis shouldn't feel like decoding ancient texts. Real businesses need practical financial skills, not theoretical fluff.
Back in 2023, a few of us were sitting around frustrated with how disconnected finance education felt from real business operations. Companies in South Korea were struggling with cash flow management, yet most training programs kept teaching the same old textbook methods.
So we decided to build something different. Not another certification mill, but actual education rooted in what businesses face every day. Working capital isn't just numbers on spreadsheets—it's about timing, decisions, and understanding the pulse of your operations.
We launched our first program in late 2024, working directly with small manufacturing firms around Seongnam. The response surprised us—people were hungry for this kind of practical approach. By early 2025, we expanded our reach across Gyeonggi-do and haven't looked back.
We're not academics in ivory towers. We've worked in finance, operations, and small business management.

Lead Instructor
Former controller who realized most finance training was backwards. Teaches participants to spot problems before they become crises. Believes in real case studies over hypothetical examples every single time.
We don't follow the standard playbook. Our programs focus on building actual competence, not collecting certificates.
Every lesson connects to actual business situations. We use anonymized data from companies operating in South Korean markets, so participants see patterns they'll recognize immediately.
We teach participants to build their own models and frameworks. By the end of our programs, people can analyze their own working capital cycles without needing consultants for every question.
Learning doesn't stop when the program ends. Our participants get access to quarterly workshops and can reach out when they hit actual problems in their work—we're here for the long haul.
Our next cohort starts in October 2025. Programs run for six months with flexible scheduling for working professionals. Get in touch to learn more about curriculum, schedules, and whether our approach fits your needs.
